Mr. Buckner joined Pacesetter in 2004 as General Counsel, and subsequently served in that capacity, as well as Vice President of Human Resources, until February 2011 when he assumed the position of President.  Mr. Buckner’s prior experience includes 12 years of private practice in a variety of areas of the law, including oil and gas and other energy related areas, real property, business transactions and securities matters, among others. 

Mr. Buckner earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas – Austin and his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University – San Antonio; he is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and is a member of the Texas and Dallas Bar Associations.
